My Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design is just the beginning of what I see as a really exciting and rewarding path that I am on. Coming from OCADU specifically, the focus was very much on how you think and how you address a design problem or project. A strong focus was also put on having a solid design process that can borrow skills, techniques or thinking approaches learned throughout the program. Along with these more conceptual skills, we were also taught hands on, technical skills through a variety of studio and shop courses. These skills are all transferrable regardless of whether you’re designing a physical product, a digital product or a combination of the two and give me the confidence to tackle any design problem head on. The projects below include work from a Blackberry x OCADU partnership, a wearable technology project, material explorations and core studio assignments.
